Hello! We are a Spanish family looking for a female au pair who is familiar with the Waldorf environment and preferably has attended a Waldorf School, and wants to stay with us for 8-12 months starting this September/October. We have two children: Leo and Bruno. Leo is 2 and a half years old and attends a Waldorf kindergarten, and Bruno is a 5 months old little baby. We live in a little town called Alpedrete, situated up in the mountains of the 'sierra' of Madrid (40-50 minutes by bus or train to Madrid city center). We moved to the countryside four years ago and we love it here; it is very beautiful and peaceful, and the busy Madrid city center is also very close, so you can enjoy both environments easily. Our home is a semidetached house with a little garden and a swimming pool in a quiet area. We like hill walking in the countryside, all kinds of sports (bike, running, swimming) arts and crafts and cooking. We have our own business (photography and video studio) and we manage to spend a long time with our children, which we really enjoy! We are looking for someone who can help us mainly with child caring (specially breakfast time, dinner time and some afternoons from Monday to Friday, and babysitting a couple of nights a week) and light housework/cooking (there is someone already helping us with house work twice a week); normally you will be helping us when all of us are at home, so we will be with you and the children most of the time, however you may have to stay with them on your own occasionally. We offer: a charming, friendly and healthy family environment; a room and bathroom with a lot of privacy; lots of free time to study, have a part time job, visit the city or whatever you enjoy doing; and a monthly fee of 200 Euros.
